Emily is the Associate Program Director, UCP & CHIRP. She is a member of both the California and Texas State Bars. Prior to joining Acacia and Vera, Emily worked as an attorney for ProBAR in South Texas to provide legal representation to children in Office of Refugee Resettlement custody. She also has child welfare experience, having served as an attorney and guardian ad litem for children in California foster care. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing and spending time with her two nieces.
