Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Antonio is Assistant General Counsel at the Acacia Center for Justice. Before joining Acacia, Antonio served as a shareholder advocacy legal fellow at Rhia Ventures focusing on reproductive justice and digital privacy, and as a law clerk for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division. Antonio recently co-authored “Automating judicial discretion: How algorithmic risk assessments in pretrial adjudications violate Equal Protection rights on the basis of race” in the Minnesota Journal of Law & Inequality. Antonio holds a J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law, a master’s degree in arts and cultural management from Pratt Institute, and a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
