Cristina is a Senior Program Associate who supports Acacia’s network of legal service providers and monitors contract compliance. Before joining Acacia, Cristina was a managing accredited representative at Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project in Phoenix, where she provided deportation defense to unaccompanied children. She earned her B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University in international relations with minors in international studies, sociology, and French. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law in Boston, MA. Originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Cristina loves to read, try new recipes, and travel.
