Mehak is a Research and Evaluation Associate with the Acacia Center for Justice and has supported research relating to public finance, economic development, and migration issues in her prior roles. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Lahore School of Economics and a masters in global affairs from the University of Notre Dame. Mehak enjoys working on research questions that aim to improve living conditions and provide opportunities for people. She is an avid reader and, when not spending time with her daughter, can be found reading a historical fiction book.
