Jon is a Program Manager for Acacia’s Learning and Development team, where he supports the Unaccompanied Children’s Program. Jon has been studying and working in the immigration field for over 10 years. Prior to joining Acacia, he represented individuals fighting deportation and seeking immigration benefits. He also previously worked with detained unaccompanied children, providing Know Your Rights presentations and legal screenings. Jon has a master’s degree in Latin American studies, with a concentration in refugees and humanitarian crises, from Georgetown University and a J.D. from New York University. In his free time, Jon likes to travel and see live music.
